For ST trims, the power boost goes up to 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the V6, the Ford Explorer towing capacity reaches up to 5,600 pounds, which is the maximum.
• 3.3L Hybrid: Despite its fuel efficiency, the Explorer’s hybrid powertrain still allows you to tow up to 5,000 pounds around Winterset.
